The seminar was an informative and engaging event aimed at shedding light on the principles and importance of establishing a stable welfare society, with a specific focus on the vital role that young individuals can play in shaping and sustaining such a society. The seminar sought to create a platform for dialogue and education where participants can gain insights into the key components of a welfare society and understand how their active involvement can contribute to its realization
Dr Taj Afsar has a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies. He is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at IIUI. He is the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Ussuludin and also serves as Head of the Department of Tafseer and Quranic Sciences at IIUI.
Dr. Taj is a contemporary academician whose research and teaching focus is Uloom Ul Quran, Tafseer, Ejaz Ul Quran, Hadith, Islamic Studies and Philosophy, Islamic History, and Islamic worldview and civilization. He is a frequent speaker, keenly interested in promoting the comprehensive philosophy of Islam to foster collectivism and the well-being of all humanity.
